# Countdown vs TaskPath

The clearest difference is ads: TaskPath at none against Countdown's shown. Countdown's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TaskPath sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update weekly, TaskPath every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
