# RideCo Waterloo vs HOVR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RideCo Waterloo at 73% against HOVR's 45%. RideCo Waterloo also leads on device support (3 vs 1). HOVR's advantage is rating (2.6 vs 2.3) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HOVR holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of RideCo Waterloo's written reviews are positive against 45% of HOVR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RideCo Waterloo ships an update monthly, HOVR every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
