# RideCo Waterloo vs LA Metro Micro

The clearest difference is rating: LA Metro Micro at 4.7 against RideCo Waterloo's 2.3. LA Metro Micro also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). RideCo Waterloo's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 54%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LA Metro Micro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LA Metro Micro has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of RideCo Waterloo's written reviews are positive against 54% of LA Metro Micro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
