# AR vs X

The clearest difference is rating: X at 4.3 against AR's 1.9. X also leads on ratings volume (489 vs 28). AR's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (23% vs 0%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. AR asks for nothing beyond the download.

X holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: X has 489 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of AR's written reviews are positive against 0% of X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
