# NV Energy vs August Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: August Mobile at 100% against NV Energy's 14%. NV Energy's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (7.6K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NV Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NV Energy has 7.6K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of NV Energy's written reviews are positive against 100% of August Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NV Energy ships an update every 3 weeks, August Mobile every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
