# Eorzean Watch vs Paltopia

The clearest difference is ads: Eorzean Watch at none against Paltopia's shown. Eorzean Watch also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 69%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Paltopia's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 24). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eorzean Watch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Paltopia sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Eorzean Watch against 4.8 for Paltopia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paltopia has 1.4K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Eorzean Watch's written reviews are positive against 69% of Paltopia's.

Eorzean Watch ships an update every 4 months, Paltopia every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
