# MyRing vs Ring

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ring at 87% against MyRing's 21%. Ring also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4). MyRing's advantage is ratings volume (694 vs 31) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyRing sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.79 per month and Ring sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ring holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyRing has 694 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of MyRing's written reviews are positive against 87% of Ring's.

MyRing ships an update every 8 days, Ring every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
