# PDF Note Pro vs NoteBook

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteBook at every 2 weeks against PDF Note Pro's every 11 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Note Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NoteBook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Note Pro ships an update every 11 months, NoteBook every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
