# PDF Note Pro vs AI Notes Taker

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI Notes Taker at every 2 days against PDF Note Pro's every 11 months. PDF Note Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Note Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AI Notes Taker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Note Pro ships an update every 11 months, AI Notes Taker every 2 days. Both last shipped on September 30, 2026.
