# PDF Note Pro vs Footnote

The clearest difference is rating: Footnote at 5.0 against PDF Note Pro's 2.0. PDF Note Pro's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Note Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Footnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Footnote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.
