# Productive vs Plany

The clearest difference is ads: Plany at none against Productive's shown. Productive's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Productive sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 3 months and Plany sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Productive ships an update fortnightly, Plany every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
