# Productive vs Vane

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vane at 100% against Productive's 47%. Vane also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Productive's advantage is ratings volume (91K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Productive sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 3 months and Vane sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vane holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Productive has 91K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of Productive's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vane's.

Productive ships an update fortnightly, Vane weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
