# Kill Steve vs Kill the Dummy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kill Steve at none against Kill the Dummy's 1. Kill Steve also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 47%). Kill the Dummy's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 52). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kill the Dummy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Kill Steve asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kill the Dummy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Kill Steve's written reviews are positive against 47% of Kill the Dummy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
