# Kill Steve vs Murder Hornet!

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kill Steve at none against Murder Hornet!'s 1. Kill Steve also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 47%). Murder Hornet!'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (58K vs 53). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Murder Hornet! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Kill Steve asks for nothing beyond the download.

Murder Hornet! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Murder Hornet! has 58K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Kill Steve's written reviews are positive against 47% of Murder Hornet!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kill Steve ships an update every 8 months, Murder Hornet! every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
