# Open GPX Tracker vs GPX View

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Open GPX Tracker at 67% against GPX View's 0%. Open GPX Tracker also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (131 vs 6). GPX View's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPX View sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Open GPX Tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

GPX View holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Open GPX Tracker has 131 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Open GPX Tracker's written reviews are positive against 0% of GPX View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
