# Transit Tracker vs My Optimum

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Transit Tracker at 64% against My Optimum's 10%. Transit Tracker also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.2 vs 16.0). My Optimum's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.3 vs 3.9). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transit Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. My Optimum asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Optimum holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Optimum has 95K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Transit Tracker's written reviews are positive against 10% of My Optimum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Transit Tracker ships an update every 2 months, My Optimum monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
