# YUNG Keyboard vs Emojic

The clearest difference is rating: Emojic at 5.0 against YUNG Keyboard's 3.2. Emojic also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). YUNG Keyboard's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (18 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YUNG Keyboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Emojic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emojic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YUNG Keyboard has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

YUNG Keyboard ships an update every 5 months, Emojic weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
