# Counter for Watch vs Counter≜

The clearest difference is rating: Counter≜ at 4.6 against Counter for Watch's 4.1. Counter≜ also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 23). Counter for Watch's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 months). On price and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter for Watch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Counter≜ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Counter≜ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Counter≜ has 2.7K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Counter for Watch's written reviews are positive against 65% of Counter≜'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Counter for Watch ships an update every 3 days, Counter≜ every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
