# Brain It On! vs Setwise

The clearest difference is rating: Setwise at 5.0 against Brain It On!'s 4.5. Setwise also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Brain It On!'s advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain It On! sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Setwise sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Setwise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain It On! has 5.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brain It On! ships an update every 3 weeks, Setwise every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
