# WillPower vs Rhetoriq

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rhetoriq at every 2 days against WillPower's monthly. Rhetoriq also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). WillPower's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 10). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WillPower sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Rhetoriq sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rhetoriq holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WillPower has 51 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of WillPower's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rhetoriq's.

WillPower ships an update monthly, Rhetoriq every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
