# Discord vs Connect Creator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Connect Creator at 100% against Discord's 44%. Connect Creator also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Discord's advantage is ratings volume (3.6M vs 18) and chart position (#5 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Discord sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Connect Creator sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Connect Creator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Discord has 3.6M ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Discord's written reviews are positive against 100% of Connect Creator's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
