# Visit A City vs VoiceGuide

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VoiceGuide at none against Visit A City's 2. VoiceGuide also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Visit A City's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Visit A City sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. VoiceGuide asks for nothing beyond the download.

VoiceGuide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visit A City has 15K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Visit A City ships an update every 2 months, VoiceGuide every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
