# Matthew Henry Bible Commentary vs NIV Commentary Offline

Matthew Henry Bible Commentary and NIV Commentary Offline both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Matthew Henry Bible Commentary's written reviews are positive against 0% of NIV Commentary Offline's. Matthew Henry Bible Commentary also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (746 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

NIV Commentary Offline holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matthew Henry Bible Commentary has 746 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Matthew Henry Bible Commentary's written reviews are positive against 0% of NIV Commentary Offline's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
