# Exist vs Everlog

The clearest difference is rating: Everlog at 4.6 against Exist's 4.0. Everlog also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exist sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.49 per month and Everlog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Everlog holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everlog has 308 ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Exist's written reviews are positive against 79% of Everlog's.

Exist ships an update every 3 weeks, Everlog every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
