# ArcSite vs PlanSnap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PlanSnap at none against ArcSite's 10. PlanSnap also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.4). ArcSite's advantage is ratings volume (9.3K vs 2) and chart position (#179 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArcSite sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. PlanSnap asks for nothing beyond the download.

PlanSnap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ArcSite has 9.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of ArcSite's written reviews are positive against 50% of PlanSnap's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
