# Flipper vs Mirror Flipper

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mirror Flipper at 100% against Flipper's 52%. Mirror Flipper also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Flipper's advantage is ratings volume (8.2K vs 16) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mirror Flipper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flipper holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flipper has 8.2K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Flipper's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mirror Flipper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flipper ships an update every 2 months, Mirror Flipper every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
