# Flipper vs InShot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: InShot at 86% against Flipper's 52%. InShot also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.5M vs 8.2K). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and InShot sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InShot holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InShot has 2.5M ratings behind it against 8.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Flipper's written reviews are positive against 86% of InShot's.

Flipper ships an update every 2 months, InShot every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
