# Disco Timer vs Countdown to an event

The clearest difference is rating: Disco Timer at 4.7 against Countdown to an event's 4.0. Disco Timer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (97 vs 2). Countdown to an event's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Disco Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown to an event sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
