# Crayon vs Leia A.I.

The clearest difference is rating: Leia A.I. at 4.1 against Crayon's 3.0. Leia A.I. also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (257 vs 4). Crayon's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 35%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crayon sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Leia A.I. sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Leia A.I. holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Leia A.I. has 257 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Crayon's written reviews are positive against 35% of Leia A.I.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Crayon ships an update every 3 months, Leia A.I. every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
