# Crayon vs Checktac

The clearest difference is update cadence: Checktac at every 3 days against Crayon's every 3 months. Crayon's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crayon sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Checktac sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crayon ships an update every 3 months, Checktac every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
