# PressChat vs CBC Waycross

The clearest difference is update cadence: PressChat at every 3 months against CBC Waycross's every 45 months. PressChat also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). CBC Waycross's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PressChat against 5.0 for CBC Waycross. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CBC Waycross has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PressChat ships an update every 3 months, CBC Waycross every 45 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
