# PressChat vs PsyFacts

The clearest difference is update cadence: PsyFacts at every 3 weeks against PressChat's every 3 months. PsyFacts also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). PressChat's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PressChat against 5.0 for PsyFacts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PsyFacts has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PressChat ships an update every 3 months, PsyFacts every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
