# eSquirrel vs Langumax

The clearest difference is update cadence: Langumax at every 5 days against eSquirrel's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eSquirrel sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Langumax sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eSquirrel ships an update every 2 months, Langumax every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
