# Taleh vs TaqReader

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaqReader at every 6 weeks against Taleh's every 12 months. TaqReader also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TaqReader holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaqReader has 1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Taleh ships an update every 12 months, TaqReader every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 11, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
