# ToDo Simple List vs SAU

The clearest difference is update cadence: ToDo Simple List at every 2 weeks against SAU's every 4 months. SAU's advantage is rating (3.3 vs 3.0) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToDo Simple List sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SAU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SAU holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of ToDo Simple List's written reviews are positive against 64% of SAU's.

ToDo Simple List ships an update every 2 weeks, SAU every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
