# Wi vs xArm

The clearest difference is rating: Wi at 3.9 against xArm's 3.0. Wi also leads on ratings volume (27 vs 3). xArm's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (50% vs 36%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. xArm asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wi holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wi has 27 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Wi's written reviews are positive against 50% of xArm's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wi ships an update every 3 months, xArm every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
