# AC Freedom vs Intelligent AC

The clearest difference is update cadence: AC Freedom at every 2 months against Intelligent AC's every 4 months. AC Freedom also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Intelligent AC's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 1.5 for AC Freedom against 1.5 for Intelligent AC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Intelligent AC has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 13% of AC Freedom's written reviews are positive against 9% of Intelligent AC's.

AC Freedom ships an update every 2 months, Intelligent AC every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
