# MYLAPS Speedhive vs PROSTART

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MYLAPS Speedhive at 1.2K against PROSTART's 3. MYLAPS Speedhive also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). PROSTART's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PROSTART holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MYLAPS Speedhive has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MYLAPS Speedhive ships an update monthly, PROSTART every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
