# mobilePORT vs Wifi Password

The clearest difference is review sentiment: mobilePORT at 78% against Wifi Password's 20%. mobilePORT also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Wifi Password's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (424 vs 3). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wifi Password sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. mobilePORT asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wifi Password holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wifi Password has 424 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of mobilePORT's written reviews are positive against 20% of Wifi Password's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mobilePORT ships an update every 6 weeks, Wifi Password every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
