# FlyAkeed vs SHIFT

The clearest difference is monetization model: FlyAkeed at free against SHIFT's free with in-app purchases. FlyAkeed also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SHIFT holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 234 and 512 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of FlyAkeed's written reviews are positive against 50% of SHIFT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FlyAkeed ships an update weekly, SHIFT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
