# Blocky Highway vs Loop Drive 2

The clearest difference is monetization model: Blocky Highway at free with in-app purchases against Loop Drive 2's subscription. Loop Drive 2's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 14 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blocky Highway sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Loop Drive 2 sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Blocky Highway against 4.6 for Loop Drive 2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loop Drive 2 has 3.5K ratings behind it against 566, so its average is the more settled of the two.
