# WL vs WiFi UAV

The clearest difference is update cadence: WiFi UAV at every 3 weeks against WL's every 7 months. WiFi UAV also leads on ratings volume (484 vs 2). WL's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.0 for WL against 2.9 for WiFi UAV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WiFi UAV has 484 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of WL's written reviews are positive against 28% of WiFi UAV's.

WL ships an update every 7 months, WiFi UAV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
