# Etihad vs MatchMyFlight

The clearest difference is rating: MatchMyFlight at 5.0 against Etihad's 4.4. MatchMyFlight also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Etihad's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MatchMyFlight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Etihad has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Etihad ships an update every 5 days, MatchMyFlight every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
