# V380 vs iCarView

The clearest difference is rating: iCarView at 5.0 against V380's 3.1. iCarView also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and ads (none vs shown). V380's advantage is ratings volume (995 vs 1) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. V380 sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. iCarView asks for nothing beyond the download.

iCarView holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V380 has 995 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of V380's written reviews are positive against 0% of iCarView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

V380 ships an update every 2 months, iCarView every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
