# Funda vs Cowboy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cowboy at 77% against Funda's 40%. Cowboy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Funda's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 34). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Funda holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Funda has 1.5K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Funda's written reviews are positive against 77% of Cowboy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Funda ships an update weekly, Cowboy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
