# Funda vs DrillRight

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Funda at 40% against DrillRight's 0%. Funda also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 7). DrillRight's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DrillRight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Funda has 1.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Funda's written reviews are positive against 0% of DrillRight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Funda ships an update weekly, DrillRight every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
