# Cinetree vs Museumtijdschrift+

The clearest difference is update cadence: Museumtijdschrift+ at fortnightly against Cinetree's every 3 months. Museumtijdschrift+ also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cinetree sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and Museumtijdschrift+ sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cinetree ships an update every 3 months, Museumtijdschrift+ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
