# fuelService vs WAV Calgary

The clearest difference is review sentiment: fuelService at 91% against WAV Calgary's 25%. fuelService also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (45 vs 1). WAV Calgary's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WAV Calgary holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: fuelService has 45 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of fuelService's written reviews are positive against 25% of WAV Calgary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

fuelService ships an update every 2 months, WAV Calgary every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
