# 2Counter vs ScoreMate

The clearest difference is rating: ScoreMate at 4.7 against 2Counter's 3.7. ScoreMate also leads on ratings volume (851 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 2Counter sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and ScoreMate sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScoreMate holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScoreMate has 851 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of 2Counter's written reviews are positive against 61% of ScoreMate's.

2Counter ships an update every 2 weeks, ScoreMate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
