# Drone 720P vs XA FPV

The clearest difference is rating: XA FPV at 2.4 against Drone 720P's 2.0. XA FPV also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). Drone 720P's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 18%) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XA FPV holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XA FPV has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Drone 720P's written reviews are positive against 18% of XA FPV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drone 720P ships an update every 5 weeks, XA FPV every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
